WPCA is the parish school of Blessed Trinity.
Children attending WPCA or PSR at Blessed Trinity
are encouraged to participate.



Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a C.Y.O. sport that is available to 4th through 8th graders. There are two different Cheerleading squads: the Pep Squad and the Competition squad. Each is independent of the other. A separate participation fee is required for each. See the left sidebar for sports that run concurrent to Cheerleading.

Pep Squad

The Pep Squad cheers at WPCA football games. See the Football page for information on the football schedule. For a girl's perspective of the game of football and how it's played check here.

Practice starts in August at Blessed Trinity's Fogarty Hall.

Competition Squad

Watch for more information in the fall.

Requirements

ALL of these requirements must be fulfilled before your child can practice or play. Do not send your child to practice until all of the requirements are met.

Cheerleaders must be able to attend camp, all practices and games, and have transportation to and from these events.

Fees

There is a $80.00 membership fee per family, per school year.

This fee covers all sports offerings including intramual sports. Once this fee is paid, it does not need to be paid again until the following school year.

There is also a $35.00 participation fee per child for this sport.

This fee helps defray the costs of fees C.Y.O. charges us as well as uniforms, equipment, maintenance, safety supplies and adminstrative costs.

Medical Exam

All children must have an up-to-date medical exam (good for one year). Forms are available here or from your child's coach.

Equipment

We supply the uniform and related equipment for cheerleading.

Cheerleaders are required to purchase purchase briefs, bodysuit or turtleneck and sweatshirt as part of the uniform (approx $50). All will be the property of the cheerleader and will be reuseable for as many years as they fit. Families will be given information on how and where to purchase these items.

At the end of the season, uniforms should be washed according to instructions and returned to the coach.
