What are the Funds Collected For?

There are many costs associated with providing a top-notch athletic program for our children. There is equipment such as helmets, pads, bats, balls and much more. There are major costs such as volleyball poles, a pitching machine or gym floor repair. We pay C.Y.O. fees for fields and gyms, referees and umpires, as well administrative costs.

Athletic Fees

Our athletic association charges fees to help cover some of our costs. We keep our fees low. In fact they are among the lowest in the diocese. Just $40 per family per school year plus a $15 fee for each C.Y.O. sport. This is a major savings over a program that charges $80 to $100 for just one sport.

Why Fundraising is So Important

We could not keep fees low without our fundraising efforts. We can also do what many other athletic associations cannot -- make donations to and provide goods and services to our school. We've raised tens of thousands of dollars for our school in just the last couple years. All the while keeping our athletic programs well equipped.

We Need Your Help

There are three major fundraisers we organize annually -- Volleyball Tournament, High School Basketball Tournament and A Night at the Races. We need volunteers to do everything from collect admission, set up, clean up, sell tickets, work the snack bar and much more. The more people pitch in, the more we can accomplish.

How You Can Get Involved

It might require as little as a couple hours of your time. Or you may be able to invest even more time. You can help by saying "yes" when called to work at a tournament. If you'd like to be proactive and get your name on a list of volunteers shoot us an email.

There are many benefits to volunteering. Of course you are helping our children have the best athletic programs we can offer. But you also get to meet new people and work side-by-side with old friends. We work but we have fun too. Please join us!
