Administrative Procedures

Admission and Readmission Procedures

Admission and readmission are granted on an annual school year basis. West Park Catholic Academy will admit students without discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin.

The following conditions must be met before any child(ren) will be accepted:

  • Records of new students must be received and reviewed before admission is finalized by the Principal.
  • Parents must agree to support our school policies in regard to assignments and conduct before the child is officially accepted.
  • The family must adhere to the tuition fee schedule.
  • Health and immunization records must be up to date.

Note: In families where there is a divorce or separation, a copy of the child custody papers must be on file at the school before the registration is considered complete.

Registration

At the end of each school year, each child must re-register for the following year. The contract and the non – refundable deposit per family must be complete before the child is noted as registered. Full payment of all past tuition, fees and other bills is a requirement for acceptance of students into a new academic year.

Registration for kindergarten enrollment is held during February. The exact date and time will be published. A child must be 5 years of age on or before September 30th to be admitted to kindergarten.

Withdrawls/Transfers

If you decide to withdraw your child for any reason, please contact the school office for details. Parents must sign a release of records form for records to be sent to the new school. Records will be mailed to the new school. Records can not be given directly to any family. All tuition bills must be paid and current.

Finances

The tuition for the 2008 – 2009 academic year is $3,450.00 per child. All families must sign the financial contract. Tuition is paid through Smart Tuition on a monthly basis or paid on full by June 15th.
