CYO/Intramural Sports

The West Park Catholic Academy Athletic Association organizes the intramural sports program and encourages parental involvement. Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) sports include football, basketball, volleyball, softball, cheerleading, wrestling, and baseball. All athletes must have a yearly physical.

Band

West Park Catholic Academy provides one day per week of band instruction for students in grades 4-8. Students may rent instruments or purchase their own instruments. The band levels are advanced and beginning. Lessons are held during the school day and at lunch times. Students perform two concerts a year. There is a fee for this program.

PTU

The Parent-Teacher Unit is an affiliate of the Catholic Parent – Teacher League where parent/guardian(s) have the opportunity to be involved in school activities. Our PTU sponsors/organizes our school fundraisers, book fairs, Christmas party, Family BINGO night, parties, classroom treats, ice cream social, Campbell Soup label collection, Giant Eagle receipts collection and many other activities. A monthly newsletter is sent to parents. Each family is encouraged to join every year. There are annual dues of $5.00 per family. Parent/Guardian(s) are asked to volunteer each year to help with various activities.
