School Hours

The schools day is 5½ hours long, exclusive of the lunch period. Students should be at school by 7:50 A.M. The first bell rings at 7:50 A.M. School begins and students are considered late at 8:00 A.M. Students should not assemble on or about the premises before 7:40 A.M. Students should not remain on the premises beyond 3:00 P.M. without the permission of the principal and/or teacher.

Daily Schedule

7:00 A.M. – 7:40 A.M.	Morning care – Nominal Fee
7:30 A.M. – 7:50 A.M.	Breakfast (prepaid)
7:50 A.M.	First Bell
8:00 A.M.	Homeroom Time and Announcements
8:10 A.M.	Classes Begin
11:40 A.M. – 12:20 P.M.	Lunch/Recess – Grades K – 2 Recess/Lunch – Grades 3 & 4
12:30 P.M. – 1:10 P.M.	Lunch/Recess Grades 6 & 8 Recess/Lunch – Grades 5 & 7
2:45 P.M.	Dismissal

Note: Once a month classes are dismissed at 1:30 P.M. for faculty meetings. See the monthly calendar. This usually will occur on the second Wednesday of the month.
